People Are Gifts

Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God.- 1 John 4:7

Serving the World

He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” – Mark 16:15

Rooted in Scripture

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. – Psalm 119:105

You Are Welcome Here

No matter how much you have been hurt or how much you have hurt others, we believe you are a person made in the image of God with supreme dignity.

The members of our church have been through very difficult times. Some have come through them, others are still in them and none of us knows the difficulties we will yet face. And every one of us must face death one day. Life is never perfect, and none of us are perfect. But for us, it’s about living life together in God’s grace shown to us in Christ. In Him we love and serve one another and we make known his grace to Fort Worth and to the world.

Please consider a visit – we may be the perfect imperfect church for you!

We Love Our People and Our Community

Everybody needs to be part of something. We all have a craving for something beyond ourselves. At FWPC the focus is inside and outside of our church. Come be part of a church that serves rather than being served.

KIDS

Our goal in children’s ministry is to tell and show the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, His power, and the wonders He has done.
(Ps. 78.1-7)

STUDENTS

The Fort youth ministry serves students in 7th through 12th grades. We gather for gospel-centered community, grow in a Reformed understanding of the Scriptures and spiritual disciplines, and go into the world bearing witness to Christ.

ADULTS

Our adult classes are not age specific. They are set up on semester schedules with mini-mesters between, and cover a wide range of subjects from Bible books like Revelation or Hebrews to topics like the Trinity or prayer or marriage.

LEARN MORE

  1. Visit Our Church

While finding a new church can be exciting and hopeful, it can also be hard. If you come visit FWPC (and we hope you will!), we want you to be as sure and comfortable as possible. So, we’ve provided links below to help you know more about us up front and minimize any anxiety, confusion, or fear.

The best way to experience FWPC is to engage with a Sunday service. Stay after worship and talk to a member; we’d love to share who we are and what we value.

2. Our Free Gift

Prayer is effective at all times in all circumstances. You can find comfort and solace in prayer. Whether you offer a single word prayer or pray a Psalm, God hears every word.

We would be happy to pray for you, send you a prayer guide, or mail you a CD of hymns.

3. Get Connected

We all have circumstances that are challenging. Situations seem to be overwhelming, and we don’t know where to turn. Christ offers us hope and encouragement. Free for the taking and no strings attached.

We’d love to offer you hope and encouragement via phone or in person.

What Do Our Members Say?

“At FWPC, we emphasize that Christianity isn’t fundamentally about a list of rules but a relationship with the living God. This is a hospital for the sick not a showroom. We bring our brokenness and sin to Christ, and He gives us rest for our souls while giving us grace to follow Him.”

– Steve F.

Sue and I knew the first Sunday at FWP we had found our church home. The teaching was deep and Biblical, in line with Reformed Theology. The music was worshipful, and we sang all five verses of old hymns set to fresh acoustic music. We have discovered the depth of friendships we were longing for and the perfect fit for us!

– Chris J.

“Fort Worth PCA consistently preaches the word of God. Our pastors show God’s redemptive plan for man book by book, chapter by chapter each and every week. Christ is taught from Genesis to Revelation. We as members are very blessed to have pastors and teaching staff dedicated to the body of Christ.”

– Christal W.

“One of the reasons I love FWPCA is that we are a body that loves the LORD, each other, and our neighborhood. Our church is alive and far from a museum. We don’t accept and love each other because of who they are but we do so because of whose they are.”

– Randy S.
