CHRISTMAS EVENTS

Christmas Services
We hope you will join us, along with friends, family, and neighbors, for Christmas worship services. Christmas Eve will include communion and a candlelight service.
Our Lord’s Day service on both Christmas Day and New Year’s Day will begin at 11:00 a.m. There will not be Christian Formation Classes, and worship will be one hour with no KIWI classes during the sermon for PreK-2nd Grade.
One nursery room will be available, and the service will be streaming in the Lecture Hall to provide an additional option for parents with young children. Learn More

Lessons and Carols
Lessons and Carols is one of Fort Worth Presbyterian’s most beautiful events. Sunday, December 18, at 6:00 p.m., the story of Jesus will be told through scripture and song. Both young and old participate in the readings from the Old and New Testaments, and a choir will lead us in carols and perform special music. We will fellowship together with cookies after the service. Come and celebrate with us!
Volunteers are needed to bring Christmas cookies and to help with setup and cleanup for the reception. If you are willing to serve our church family in this way, please Sign Up below.
CHRISTMAS CELEBRATIONS

Women’s Christmas Brunch
This annual event will take place on Saturday, December 10 from 10:00-11:30 a.m. at Fort Worth Presbyterian. Our own Lisa Bratton will be our speaker this year.
As of December 3rd, all tables have been filled.
Sign Up here if you can help with food. Have a high school daughter or granddaughter who would like to help serve? Contact Lucy Breedlove or Kelley Estes.

The Fort
All youth are invited to The Davis Barn on Saturday, December 10, at 6:00 p.m. Dinner will be served, and you are welcome to bring a dessert to share (not required). Come dressed in your ugly Christmas sweater (prize will be awarded), and bring a $10 or under gift for the White Elephant Gift Exchange (can be funny, cool, or just plain weird)!

GAP
5th and 6th graders are invited to the Thom Home at 4201 Shannon Drive on Saturday, December 10, 7:00-9:00 p.m. for a GAP Christmas Party! Bring a $5-10 gift to exchange, and we’ll enjoy games and dessert while we practice loving God And People together.
CHRISTMAS MERCY

PCA Ministerial Relief Offering
Today, an increasing number of PCA pastors, pastors’ widows, and ministry staff live near the poverty line. Our domination launched the Geneva Relief Fund to support these servants by raising funds to meet their practical needs and remind them they are not alone.
A special offering will be taken on Sunday, December 4. Please make checks payable to FWPC and list Ministerial Relief Offering on the memo line. Online donations can be made below.

Prison Fellowship Angel Tree
Beginning December 4, select an angel from the tree in the Fellowship Hall to purchase a Christmas gift for a child on behalf of an incarcerated parent.
Each angel includes a child’s name, age, and suggested gift.
