The Grove at FWPC was established in 2024 with the planting of 14 fruit and pecan trees donated by The Giving Grove. Since then, we have created a beautiful space with a little orchard, flowers, benches, walking paths, and herb and vegetable garden to share with our community. Help will be needed with ongoing maintenance and workdays… bring a shovel and some work gloves!

Fri, Oct 30, 9:00-10:30 am – Homeschool Gardening Workshop
Join us for a free workshop designed especially for homeschool students and children in hybrid learning programs, ages 7-14. Led by Anne Santana and church volunteers, rain or shine, workshop will feature hands-on gardening fun, exciting science discoveries, and opportunities to dig in and help care for the garden. Students will explore nature, learn how plants grow, and take part in simple experiments connected to real garden science.
A parent must remain onsite during the workshop. You are welcome to play in the playground with any younger children or enjoy the picnic tables in the shade. We will keep the workshop to a relatively small size (10-12 students), and spots will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. After registering, you’ll receive the workshop outline and additional details.
