Life Ministries exists to “Promote the dignity and sanctity of Life from fertilization to death with a focus on the Image of God in man.” We seek to promote life at Fort Worth Presbyterian Church through education and ministry opportunities for our members. We hope to encourage the church to be a strong voice for all stages of life. In light of this we pray for all of our ministries that promote the dignity and sanctity of life, from Pregnancy Lifeline to Kids Hope, Reformed Prison Ministries, Cornerstone, Hearts and Hammers and more.

Opportunities

We have many members serving at Pregnancy Lifeline, caring for women, educating them, and equipping them with the tools they need at what can be a very difficult time in their lives. In Life Ministries we pray for the women, men and children who benefit from the services and care at Pregnancy Lifeline. We also pray for those who volunteer their time.

Each year, we take part in a 40 day (24 hrs/day) peaceful, prayer vigil outside a local Planned Parenthood abortion clinic called 40 Days For Life. It’s an international campaign that seeks to bring an end to abortion. Since 2007, 40 Days For Life has seen over 12,000 lives saved. We pray for the unborn children, mothers, fathers and clinic workers. All of these are in need of our prayer. And like us, all of these need to be rescued by our God.

Every January, we meet in Dallas with 10,000+ DFW area residents in the North Texas March For Life. It’s a great way to show the community that local churches think life is something worth fighting for!
